Since August ’05 I have been working as a counsellor and teacher on the Women’s Program at Teen Challenge, where we help women with drug problems. I know I am in the perfect will of God, serving him by helping lost, messed up women literally back from death to life.

Biblical academic studies give a deeper understanding of the Bible. The knowledge I gained at LOTS helps me much in my work as teacher and counsellor. The deeper, academic understanding I received there actually helps me to present the subject in a simpler way. An expert is one who can take a difficult and complicated thing and present it so that even a child can understand it.

God put a deep desire in me to study the Bible more. Then God spoke to me to study theology at Livets Ord Theological Seminary.

I am now pastor and Bible school teachers at Word of Life and have had the opportunity to visit many nations: Taiwan, Russia, Ukraine, Finland, Armenia, Azerbaijan, India and Israel.

To be a servant of God and to help others to get to know God even more by preaching and teaching the Word of God.

I wanted to learn more about God, more about myself, and more about the world around me.

I feel better equipped for my task. I have a better foundation in the Word of God and have gained a deeper understanding of how things are connected. I had a lot of prejudices before, but my studies have helped me to broaden my horizons.

A Christian university in a living congregation is unique. LOTS has very able and competent teachers and the teaching is alive and interesting.
