Word of Life began in 1983. Livets Ord University is a part of the church that also houses primary, junior and high schools, and Word of Life Biblecenter.

We request that married students live together for the duration of their university studies, whether one or both of them are students. There are no student dormitories in connection with the university and this means that the students are responsible for finding their own accommodation. Uppsala is a university town with plenty of accommodation. Meals
Students are responsible for their own meals. There is a cafeteria at Livets Ord where lunch and snacks are served. Meal cards are available at a reasonable price.
